About Delhi Skill and
Entrepreneurship University
The Delhi Skill and
Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) was established in August 2020 by the
Government of NCT of Delhi to equip students with world-class skill education
to enable access to aspirational jobs and inculcate entrepreneurial mindset and
entrepreneurship. DSEU aims to create a win-win for the youth and the industry
by filling the existing gaps in skill training.
Building on the
education philosophy of thinkers such as Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave, DSEU
aims to integrate the use of the hand, head, and heart for balanced living and

1-ABOUT THE PROGRAMS
#1 Applied Art
(Formerly known as Commercial Art)
According to
Aristotle, Fine Arts is an artistic expression that may or may not address any
specific aim. However, Applied Arts is the application of artistic and design
principles in a practical setting which expresses technical abilities via
creativity. In this program, you will learn how to create useful things which
require aesthetic and ergonomic considerations. The purposeful creative
interpretation of unlimited concepts is termed as Applied Arts. In Applied
Arts, the processes involved cater not only to beautification but consumer
needs and problem-solving through the product created. After the completion of
this program, viable options for the future are academics, advertising
agencies, and media houses. In the publishing or textile industries, you will
be able to work in the creative divisions on print and online media, graphics,
icons etc..

#2 Architecture
This program is a complete package with the integration of
the basics of architecture, civil -engineering and designing. Apart from
design, you will also learn about the various aspects of constructing
buildings, from site exploration and examination to the maintenance of the
building, once it is completed. With the knowledge and skills gained, you will
be able to work with clients and have multiple interactions with them. From
government projects to working at a private organization, opportunities for you
will be plenty. You will be well equipped to have your own firm or be a
freelance architect.

program, such as Technical Service Representative, Associate Scientist,

#6 Civil Engineering
We are all fascinated by various tall and unique structures
around us, the huge ship docks, tall buildings, and many more. While an
architect may only create an aesthetical design of a building, it is the job of
a Civil Engineer and their team of assistants to bring that design to life. As
you will start by being an assistant, you would be required to conceive the
designs, undertake feasibility studies, examine the site and suggest changes in
the design. The road to an idea being transformed into reality will be
monitored by you. Once the design is ready, you would also be required in
managing the project, ensuring that it goes as planned. While it may seem that
you are only required in the development phase of a project, it is not true.
You would also be required to research extensively about new innovative ways
and also be involved in the maintenance of projects, once completed. As India

#7 Computer Engineering
The computer business is one of India’s fastest expanding
divisions and will remain so for a long time. A diploma in Computer Engineering
will help you build a solid foundation in hardware, software, operating
systems, computer architecture, electrical engineering and a variety of
sub-disciplines and understand its utilisation in different fields. A Diploma
in Computer Engineering program covers basic topics like computer programming,
